My new favourite.

I recently picked up a new toy from Don’s Photo here in Saskatoon, What did I get?  A shiny new Canon 85mm F/1.8mm lens and boy oh boy am I ever impressed with this piece of glass.  With its sharpness, beautiful background blur, and full time manual focusing (which is a new luxury for me) I could only imagine what its big brother in the L series can do.  I am very happy with this investment and I can’t see myself being unhappy with this lens for day to day use, as it is a perfect companion to my 50mm 1.8.
