Out and About in Edmonton. Part 2.
Some more photos from my trip to Edmonton. We stopped by the Fringe Festival that was taking place and took in a show and caught a few candid s here and there and moved on to the Legislature building via the trains which were run by the local railway club.

A hand full of pro and amateur photographers are going to make like a gaggle of geese and meet up at Saskatoon’s River Landing to trade head shots we can use for Twitter, Facebook, or your about me page on your website because we all know how awkward it can be at times to take a really good photo of yourself. So instead of struggling with the tripod, remote, sock puppet, and your fake vampire teeth why don’t you come down and meet some new people, share a laugh, and get a kick-ass head shot for your website.
When: Thursday August, 26th, 2010 @ 6:00pm
Where: River Landing (By the little snack shack,) For those of you who dont know where River landing is, it’s located just beside the Persephone Theater (Remai Arts Center.)
Who: Anybody with a passion for photography and is looking to expand their network a little.
What to bring: Yourself, Your Camera, Bug spray, Possibly an umbrella.
Note:
- UPDATE: A few people have volunteered spouses and other people as models for portraits so we may have an extra body or two to shoot for practice.
- Photos taken for head shots still belong to the photographer who took them so please if you do decide to have someone take your photo and you do use it please please please give credit to its creator. I highly recommend trading emails or business cards as well should you be interested in seeing the photos.
- Should the weather be awful I will post here and on twitter canceling the meet up so check here or on twitter (@imaged) prior to heading down.
